Does anyone know where January went? Or February for that matter? It seriously still feels like Christmas was only a few weeks ago, the time has flown that quickly.
It has been a little while since my last blog, so I thought I’d share what has been going on with the Clohesy family, before I start sharing my work. And 2013 has been a very busy time for my family, with lots of exciting adventures and milestones already accomplished. I was brainstorming what exactly to share with you, but the list was too many. So instead, I thought I might just share a heap of images to sum up our year so far.
The new year started by celebrating my little big sister’s 30th birthday. (I am the big sister by age only!) So we started the celebrations with a Smash the cake session for her, with her beautifully family, with a very new addition. But of course Till and Taz, are always close by when cake is involved.
Then was our trip to Thailand! A big adventure for Tilly and Taz, who were inundated with adoring cuddles and kisses from the locals and quickly fell in love with the garish hello kitty and angry bird fashion available for bargain prices. We were so lucky to spend the time with lots of friends and family (thanks mum) whilst we celebrated the marriage of two of our dearest friends. And you know, it was just your average wedding… HARDLY! Set on a beautiful beach, with a baby elephant as a surprise guest, ice sculptures, samurai sword cake cutting, and all the pina coladas and G&T’s you could handle. Not to mention a killer dance floor!
Then home to celebrate my little man’s 2nd birthday. How could he possibly be two already? Tasman, Taz, the Taz-man, Tazzie Bo Bazzie, Tazzie O, is an absolute joy, and the past two years has been filled with so much fun and laughter. There were two separate celebrations, and two cakes (two late nights creating mummy masterpieces!) and lots of laughs and fun.
Then finally, the day that Tilly has been waiting for, for over 6 months… her first day of Kinder! This is such a huge milestone, as Tilly’s first step towards her independence, (even if it is just 2 hours a week) and such a huge step for Mumma, watching my little girl need me that tiny bit less. Till walked into kinder with all of the confidence and flare, (and odd shoes) I have come to expect from my pint size wonder women, so a tear did escape, but it was not from Matilda.
And then…we welcomed a new addition to our family. Introducing Molly, our new Labradoodle puppy. Just as my two gorgeous toddlers have started sleeping though the night, and Tilly has nailed toilet training, I have now thrown myself into it all again for this little bundle of fun. Molly took no time to settle into our little home, and already I can’t imagine our house with out her.
Plus, lots of cheekiness, laughs, giggles and mess!
So I hope the rest of the year is filled with half as much fun and excitement as the first two months.
